Marcos. CTMC completed a $35 million
expansion and renovation of its 64,000
square foot Women’s Center in 2009 that
included all private rooms, a Level II
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and
a new cardiac in-patient nursing unit with
private rooms. The Center also includes an
on-site, high-risk delivery suite, as well as
a customized cesarean section suite. The
hospital expanded further in 2011, adding
a Certified Chest Pain Center as part of the
hospital’s ER that offers specialized services
and protocols for ER patients suffering
from chest pain or potential heart attack
symptoms.
