of the 2 million Mexican free-tailed bats
that migrate here every year, the Congress
Avenue Bridge also is a great place to
witness the dramatic night flight that occurs
every evening. Park in the free spots on the
southeast end of the bridge in the Austin
American Statesman designated spots. The
best viewings are in May-October.
